Ali Vasfi (H. 1253-M. 1837)

Ali Vasfi Lâz Ömer diye meşhur Ömer Vasfi Efendinin talebelerinden değerli bir hattattı. Galata
Sarayı Hat Hocası idi. İsteyenlere yazı dersi vermekle meşgul olurdu. Birçok murakka ve kıt’a
yazmıştır. H. 1253 (M. 1837) tarihinde öldü. Karacaahmet mezarlığında Şeyh Hamdullah
civarında yatıyor.
